Job summary

Es Vedra Cinemas is hiring a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen operations in Texas. You will wash dishes, utensils, and equipment, ensuring a sanitary and safe environment.

Join a team that supports high-volume service, keeps food prep running smoothly, and follows health and safety regulations. The role requires 18+, HS Diploma or GED, and a Food Handler certification; holidays, nights, and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwasher or by hand. Ensure all items are clean, sanitized, and properly stored.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, counters, and equipment.
• Dispose of trash and waste in proper containers. Regularly empty garbage bins and clean garbage cans.
• Monitor levels of dishwashing supplies such as soap and sanitizers. Notify the Kitchen Manager when supplies are low.
• Ensure the dishwasher is operating correctly. Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Kitchen Manager.
• Assist kitchen staff with tasks such as food prep and cleaning as needed. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of chemicals. Use personal protective equipment as required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Education & Experience

• HS Diploma or GED certificate preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience as a dishwasher preferred
• Food Handler certification required
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to work in an environment with loud noise, flashing lights and repetitive motions.
