Job summary

Heath Village in Hackettstown, NJ is seeking a Dishwasher to join our on-site team. The role focuses on washing dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment, while maintaining sanitation and temperature logs.

You will support the kitchen with cleaning schedules and help with supply handling and tray movements around dining areas. The position offers an opportunity to work within a retirement community that serves residents with care and dignity, with potential on-the-job training and room for growth

Responsibilities

• Places dishes in the dishwasher and runs through cycles, assuring proper washing and rinsing temperatures and recording those temperatures in a log.
• Washes pots & pans and other applicable food containers manually and dries them thoroughly
• Cleans hood, filters, fans, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, tray stands, and other equipment as directed
• Performs general cleaning schedules as assigned
• Removes garbage from kitchen/dining areas and cleans holders and receptacles
• Cleans, mops, and sanitizes all kitchen floor areas
• Assists with incoming supplies, placing food and other items in appropriate storage areas
• Assists in the delivery and retrieving of tray and other food carts from all dining room areas
