Come join the Outback family as a Dishwasher, where you will be responsible for the cleanliness and organization of dishes and small wares at the restaurant. Dishwashers are also responsible for trash disposal and linen bag removal. A Dishwasher ensures that washed items meet the required rinse and wash temperature criteria. As a Dishwasher, you’ll help provide each customer with an AUS-SOME dining experience by showcasing our food on perfectly clean plates and silverware.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain organization and flow while washing dishes and utensils
• Practice food safety and sanitation
• Restock kitchen and cook line as needed
• Perform general cleaning of the restaurant
• Manage pace and organization of dish execution
• Understand and operate the dish machine and its chemical components
• Change water and chemicals as needed
• Keep floors clean and dry
• Ensure plates and smallware are clean
• Inspect food receiving, preparation, and storage areas for safety and health compliance
• Report unsafe practices or conditions to management

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant (preferred)
• Bilingual in English/Spanish (a plus)
• Team player
• Availability for various shifts including opening, swinging, and closing
• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs
• Good vision including distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
