Job summary

Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support a fast-paced, scratch kitchen focused on high-quality food and presentation. The role emphasizes maintaining spotless dishware and a clean workstation in a high-volume setting.

You will follow strict sanitation practices, assist with opening and closing duties, and work with the team to ensure guest satisfaction in a premier dining environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age to operate kitchen equipment.
• 1 yr. previous kitchen / culinary / chef experience on a broiler is preferred, but not required.
• Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, and ovens.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform proper dish cleaning and dishwashing to maintain spotless kitchenware.
• Keep a clean, organized workstation and assist with opening and closing duties.
• Follow sanitation protocols and coordinate with kitchen staff.
• Support team to ensure fast, accurate service in a high-volume environment.

Job Description: Our restaurants operate professional, fast-paced, scratch kitchens. We hire dishwashers who understand high expectations for food presentation and execution on spotless clean kitchenware. Our restaurants typically include an open-kitchen layout with visibility from the dining room. Coordination of designated positions requires strong communication and teamwork with other employees, including all other team members and all members of management. This position is responsible for the execution of proper dish cleaning while maintaining a clean station and workspace. Proper sanitation protocols must be followed. Responsibilities also include opening duties and closing cleaning duties.
