Come join the Outback family as a Dishwasher, where you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of dishes and small wares at the restaurant. Dishwashers are also responsible for trash disposal and linen bag removal. You will ensure that washed items meet the required rinse and wash temperature criteria for each stage. As a Dishwasher, you’ll help provide each customer with an AUS-SOME dining experience by showcasing our food on perfectly clean plates and silverware.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintain organization and flow while washing dishes and utensils.
• Practice food safety and sanitation.
• Restock kitchen and cook line as needed throughout the shift.
• Perform general cleaning of the restaurant.
• Manage pace and organization of dish execution.
• Understand and operate the dish machine and all chemical components.
• Change out water and chemicals as needed, following procedures.
• Keep floors clean and dry.
• Ensure plates and smallwares are clean.
• Inspect food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Correct unsafe practices or conditions and notify management.

REQUIREMENTS :

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• Bilingual in English / Spanish is a plus.
• Team player.
• Availability to work various shifts including opens, swings, and closes.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
• Good vision abilities including distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus.
• Use of hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
