Job summary

Shorewood Senior Living in Oregon is seeking a Dishwasher to join our caring team. Pay ranges from $15.55 to $16.00 per hour depending on experience.

Shifts are Mon 9:00am-2:00pm and Fri-Sun 9:00am-2:00pm, with opportunities for additional dish shifts or cross-training as a server when available. The Dishwasher will clean and store dishes, assist with bussing and light food prep, and follow all food safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current food handling card as required by the state; we can assist you in getting this.
• Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
• Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions and make decisions.
• Must be able to work on a regular schedule, and on-call as needed; need to have reliable transportation to work.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must meet all health requirements.
• Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

Shorewood Senior Living is looking for someone to join our team as a Dishwasher. Salary range $15.55-$16.00 per hour depending upon experience. General shifts would be Mon 9:00am-2:00pm, Fri-Sun 9:00am-2:00pm. Opportunity to additional dish shifts or even cross train as server as available.

Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and putting away the dirty food preparation dishes and utensils and serving dishes and utensils. The Dishwasher helps to buss tables and assists with some minimal food prep. Dishwasher must know and follow food safety procedures. Dishwasher works under the supervision of the Kitchen Director. Dishwasher assists in storing perishable and non-perishable goods. Dishwasher assists in food preparation.
