Job summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, seeks a Dishwasher for the Florence Center. You will wash dishes and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading supplies, organizing storage, and assisting with food preparation. This role requires the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays and to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1 year of related experience.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude; follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to work independently and in a diverse team.
• Able to work under pressure and meet schedules.
• Must pass background check; non-slip shoes may be required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Place clean dishes and utensils in storage areas.
• Prepare and package individual place settings.
• Sort and remove trash and sweep floors.
• Load or unload trucks delivering food and supplies.
• Receive and store supplies and transfer between storage and work areas.

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Dishwasher at the Florence Center. The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment or utensils.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Prepare and package individual place settings.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Sweep and scrub floors.
• Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
• Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food and supplies.
• Receive and store supplies.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
• Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School diploma or GED with (1) year of related experience.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit a professional attitude and appearance.
• Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
• Work well independently exercising judgment and initiative, as well as in a team environment with a diverse group of people.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment.
• Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
• Must be able to work unsupervised.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Be able to work in fast paced kitchen environment.
• Be able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time.
• Must pass background check.
• NON-SLIP SHOES REQUIRED.

Hours of Work and Travel Requirements

May require irregular hours including nights, weekends, and/or holidays, as determined by event schedule.
