What we expect from you

Key Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots, delicate china)
• Store clean dishes, glasses, silverware and equipment appropriately
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils especially during peak hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock and place orders when necessary
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical / performance issues
• Remove garbage regularly
• Sanitize kitchen area, including the floor

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand / walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat on a regular basis
• Ability to lift / move around up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Able to go up and down stairs throughout the shift.
• All employees are to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance (specifics will be provided)
