Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly, compassionate team member to join the hospital cafeteria kitchen. You will maintain cleanliness, sanitize cookware, and support stocking of delivered items. Full-time and part-time shifts are available with day, evening, and night options. A background check and eligibility proof are required.

Location: Denver Springs. Wage is $24 per hour, with benefits including PTO, medical, dental, and 401K. Applicants must be 18+ and able to pass health and safety policies.

Job Description

We're looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team!

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment for the hospital cafeteria. Sanitize all pots, pans, utensils, and equipment in a timely manner. Support stocking and inventories by shelving and organizing delivered food and items.

Responsibilities

• Dishwasher
• Wage: $24/hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Denver Springs
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and storeroom
• Put away deliveries, label and date products, and break down boxes
• Stock and monitor towels and soap dispensers throughout the shift
• Clean and return all kitchen equipment and serving ware in a timely manner
• Set up and maintain a 3-compartment sink and dish machine
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean floors and high-traffic areas
• Monitor and empty trash cans
• Adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

Physical Requirements

• Capable of prolonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare, dishwasher, housekeeping, janitor, custodian)
