Job summary

dnata Catering is seeking a Dishwasher to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of dishes and airline equipment using a conveyor dishwasher. You will handle, store, and sanitize items while following health and safety regulations to support dnata Catering’s operations.

You must be detail-oriented, able to work quickly, and maintain an organized workspace in a busy setting; flexibility with shifts is required to cover nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred with 2+ years’ experience in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience.
• Must meet all applicable state and local food handler certification requirements for the work location (Texas requires a Food Handler Certificate within 60 days of hire).
• Ability to deal with heavy workloads and multi-task under time limits.

Responsibilities

• Follow established rules of entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by management.
• Load dishwashing machine with soiled chinaware, trays, glasses, and silverware in appropriate carriers.
• Ensure that the dishwashing machine is operating at a proper temperature and has detergent and necessary chemicals for proper operation.
• Unload the machine and place cleaned items in appropriate racks or storage containers in proper storage areas.
• Sanitize all trolleys, carriers’ oven racks and drawers and deliver them to the proper area for storage.
• Development, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Workplace Safety.
• Other duties as assigned by unit Supervisors.

Role Overview

As a Dishwasher for dnata Catering, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and airline equipment while using a conveyor dishwasher. Your role will involve operating commercial conveyor dishwashing machines, properly handling, and storing clean dishes, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. • While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi‑task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards, including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time.
