Job Description

The Dishwasher / Prep Cook is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. They are also responsible for prep-related tasks as deemed necessary by the culinary team. By keeping a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen, they provide support to the cooks and help create a positive atmosphere to work leading to a better culinary experience for our entire Ohana. The Dishwasher / Prep Cook reports to the Account Manager, with a dotted line to the kitchen Head Chef.

Dishwasher / Prep Cook Job Duties :

• Overall cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and surrounding areas
• Cleaning dishes, pots, and equipment
• Removing trash Receiving, dating, and organizing incoming product
• Stocking paper supplies Following the prep list created by Chefs
• Performing regularly scheduled maintenance / cleaning of equipment
• Adhere to local health department standards

Dishwasher / Prep Cook Skills and Qualifications :

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience
• Extensive knowledge of food safetyand food handling requirements
• Ability to work / multitask in an efficient manner
• Flexibility of working hours for events At
• Maintaining a first in, first out, or FIFO policy
• Must be able to work standing up for hours at a time
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and carry it at least 20 feet
• Must be able to work in hot and cold conditions
