Bickford Senior Living in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an Evening Dishwasher to support our culinary team and residents in the Bread Basket dining experience.

You will wash dishes, help maintain cleanliness, and interact with residents during meals. We offer full-time roles with benefits and daily pay options.

Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as a Dishwasher! The Dishwasher supports the culinary team who prepares food to be served to our residents in our restaurant-style dining experience called the “Bread Basket.”.

This position offers a full suite of benefits options that vary based on employment status. Some of the benefits include, but are not limited to:

• Wash dishes, pots and pans following Bickford’s dishwashing procedure.
• Complete assigned tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain kitchen and dining room to meet regulatory requirements and Bickford’s expectations for cleanliness.
• Serve food timely utilizing Bickford’s process.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.

Qualifications

• A Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Exhibit a “learner’s Mindset.”
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
