Job summary

Old Scratch Pizza is seeking a Dishwasher to keep dishes and kitchen equipment clean, organized, and ready for service. You will help maintain floors and work areas, support front and back of house cleanliness, and assist with trash and sanitation throughout each shift.

Ideal candidates demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude, with the stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain clean floors, work areas, and dish stations throughout the shift.
• Support overall restaurant cleanliness, including front and back of house areas.
• Assist with trash, recycling, and sanitation systems.
• Help maintain organization of storage areas and supplies.
• Report maintenance needs and assist with basic upkeep.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Support teammates to keep the restaurant running efficiently.

Position Summary

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works in a commercial restaurant environment and includes:

• Exposure to high temperatures and cold conditions in walk-ins
• Frequent contact with water, cleaning solutions, and common allergens (nuts, citrus, gluten, dairy)
• Extended standing and walking
• Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motion
• Use of equipment requiring manual dexterity and coordination
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain awareness of surroundings for safety
