Job summary

Spectrum Retirement is hiring a full-time kitchen support role in Burr Ridge, IL. The position covers dishwashing, utensil cleaning, and general kitchen sanitation with set shifts from 8am-3pm and 12pm-8pm.

Responsibilities include maintaining hygiene, assisting in daily cleaning schedules, and supporting a fast-paced dining environment. Eligible employees receive insured benefits and participate in 401(k) plans. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with ability to work in a team.

• Able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform dish and pot washing and general cleaning duties.
• Wash utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for the dining room reset.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules.
• Clean dish room floors, mats, dishwasher, and shine stainless steel.
• Sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas, and related areas.

Job Description

Schedule: Full-Time. Shifts: 8am-3pm and 12pm-8pm.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• perform necessary responsibility for dish and pot washing, and general cleaning duties
• wash all utensils, chinaware, eating utensils, and glassware for reset of dining room
• clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
• clean dish room, including washing floor mats, draining and cleaning dishwasher and shining stainless steel.
• sweep and mop dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas and other areas pertaining to kitchen

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• must be self starter
• must be able to communicate in an interdisciplinary team
• must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk and move frequently during working hours
• must be able to lift, and carry up to 30 lbs. and push or pull up to 40 lbs.
