Job summary

Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton, FL is seeking Morning Dishwashers/Stewards to maintain the kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment in clean and orderly condition.

Stewards are responsible for maintaining all equipment storage areas, dish areas, and loading dock including washing dishes, pot washer, and cleaning of kitchen equipment. AM shifts available, with a focus on high standards of cleanliness and food service support.

Qualifications

• Previous stewarding experience within a high-end resort, hotel, or club.
• Experience working within high-volume kitchen.
• Must have the ability to uphold quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Polish silver items and follow daily/weekly cleaning schedules; maintain equipment storage, dish, and loading dock areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Polish silver items by hand and with burnishing machine.
• Remove trash from the kitchen.
• Break down cardboard boxes.
• Set up three-compartment sinks and meet sanitation standards.
• Report dishwasher problems to supervisor on duty.
• Be aware of proper dishwasher temperatures.
