Job summary

PLANTA is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support a fast-paced kitchen and uphold our high standards. You will routinely operate the dishwasher and cleaning tools, ensure a clean dining and prep area, and assist with mise en place and stock lists.

As part of our team, you’ll help create a welcoming environment for guests while remaining professional during busy service periods. No specific degree required; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

Qualifications

• Capable of working in a fast-paced kitchen and maintaining high standards.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to maintain a warm, welcoming environment for guests and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwasher, sinks and tools to wash tableware and cooking equipment.

DISHWASHER

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Dishwasher will routinely uses the dishwasher, sinks, and tools to wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. Required to keep the Kitchen and whole restaurant clean and organized.

• Prepare station for service, complete mise en place and stock list
• Prepare dishes during service in a high paced and detail orientated kitchen
• Prepare all assigned menu items in an efficient and consistent manner
• Ensure company and kitchen standards are met at all times

INGREDIENTS YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Fully understand and embody PLANTA’s can-do attitude, demonstrating a level of passion and dedication where no task is beneath you.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
• Previous experience assisting in other areas of the Back of House is an asset
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, work in a wet and confined area with elevated temperatures, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
