Job summary

The Gathering Spot in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff at the onsite restaurant, Wye. You will maintain cleanliness, collect used dishes, load washers, and help ensure a smooth service flow during busy periods.

This role requires shift work, including evenings and weekends. You’ll support the team by keeping supplies stocked, sanitizing areas, and assisting with various tasks to help deliver a memorable dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a service role.
• Experience operating industrial dishwashing machines.
• Ability to follow instructions and assist with various tasks.
• Time management and attention to detail.
• Availability to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect used dishes, plates and utensils from dining and kitchen areas.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines.
• Wash specific items by hand when needed.
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately.
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock and place orders when necessary.
• Check washing machines’ operation and report issues.
• Remove garbage regularly.
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.

We are looking for a Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff and maintain cleanliness at The Gathering Spot’s onsite restaurant, Wye.

Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately. • Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas

• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china)
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Remove garbage regularly
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
