Ballast Point Brewing Company in Anaheim is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. You will manage dishware, keep equipment clean, and help maintain the high standards of quality and sanitation Ballast Point is known for.

You will work with a team, follow safety guidelines, and support the Executive Chef with daily duties. This role offers a fast-paced environment and opportunities to contribute to a celebrated craft beer culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Solid customer service skills and abilities.
• Team player with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and alternative weeks.
• Able to handle difficult situations and resolve problems quickly.
• Committed to teamwork and open communication.
• Able to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds rarely.

Responsibilities

• Collect and clean dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans.
• Operate dishwasher safely and ensure cleanliness.
• Store cleaned items properly.
• Transport items between dining room and dish room.
• Dispose of waste and operate garbage disposal unit.
• Keep floors and work areas clean and sanitized.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and peers.
• Assist Executive Chef as needed.

Job description

The Dishwasher is a key part of the Ballast Point kitchen team and ensures our kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils are maintained in clean and orderly condition, while always keeping the Company's high standards of quality, cleanliness, and efficiency in mind.

What You'll Be Doing

• Collect and clean all dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans and related food use items
• Safely operate dishwasher and check items for cleanliness, load appropriate soap levels and time cycles
• Store cleaned, dried items in proper places
• Transport items between dining room and dish room
• Remove garbage from area and dispose of in proper waste containers, and operate garbage disposal unit
• Clean floor of any spillage of water, detergent and/or foodstuffs per safety and sanitation guidelines for all food and chemical handling
• Wash worktables, walls, floors, and department equipment
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas and restock supplies when needed
• Deliver exceptional customer service to customers, vendors, peers, and managers
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Chef

The actual rate of pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for our comprehensive benefits and perks package:
