Job summary

Pizza Ranch in Ames, IA is hiring a Dishwasher starting at $12–$18 per hour with benefits. Dishwashers keep utensils, plates, cups clean and ready for guests and crew, requiring attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities include loading, scraping, soaking, washing, and drying dishes; maintaining a clean workstation; and assisting teammates as needed. Must be 16 or older; lifting up to 40 pounds; ability to stand for long periods, and friendly, guest-focused service.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• May be cross-trained to perform other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed.
• Ability to be mobile and/or on your feet for extended periods of time during entire shift.
• Reaching, bending, stooping, lifting, wiping, sweeping, and mopping.
• Ability to lift and carry weight up to 40 pounds.
• Strong desire and ability to provide legendary guest service.
• Ability to positively interact with Team Members and Guests.

Tasks involved in dishwashing include emptying bus tubs, scraping dining ware free of debris, soaking dining ware, running dishes through the washer, and organizing dishes on the drying rack to allow all dishes to fully dry before using.
