Job summary

Sagora Senior Living in Amarillo, TX seeks a full-time Dishwasher to support dining services for residents. You will wash dishes, ensure cleanliness, monitor the machine, and help maintain a safe kitchen environment. No formal degree required; English fluency and reliable communication are essential.

Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred, and you will join a team dedicated to resident-focused care in a Great Place to Work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English and communicate effectively.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred (6 months).

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and utensils to high cleanliness standards.
• Monitor dishwashing machine temperature daily and ensure proper operation.
• Remove cracked or damaged dishes from service and notify supervisor.
• Store dishes, glassware, and utensils properly for next meals.
• Dispose of trash properly and maintain cleanliness.
• Clean dishwasher inside and out after each shift.
• Deep clean the kitchen on a monthly basis.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floor, walk-in refrigerator, and freezer nightly.

What does a dishwasher at Sagora do?
