Role Description

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized dishwashing and kitchen area in a full-time, on-site role located in Aberdeen, SD. Day-to-day tasks include operating dishwashing equipment, washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools, and returning items to their proper storage locations. The role also involves assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed, taking out trash, cleaning kitchen surfaces and floors, and following all safety and hygiene procedures. The Dishwasher works closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure clean dishware is available and service runs smoothly. This position may require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, with consistent attendance and reliability expected.

Qualifications

• Strong dishwashing and cleaning skills, including safe operation of dishwashing equipment and adherence to sanitation standards.
• Basic food preparation and cooking support skills, with the ability to follow instructions and kitchen procedures.
• Effective communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction through support of timely, clean service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry dish racks or supplies, and work in a fast-paced environment.
