Job summary

Azul Hospitality Del Mar seeks a dedicated dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of china, glassware, silverware, and cookware. You will operate the dishwashing equipment and ensure hygienic standards across food and beverage outlets.

The role requires basic hospitality experience, high school education or equivalent, and a commitment to safety and sanitation in a fast-paced hotel environment in Del Mar, CA.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills.
• Self-driven and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of table and bar service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots, and pans.
• Operate commercial dishwashing machine and maintain a hygienic working environment.
• Ensure outlets have necessary items and sufficient racks for dirty dishes, silver, pots, and pans.
• Attend to spills and breakages immediately and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain sanitation of kitchens and food preparation areas, including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, and surfaces.
• Assist service team to meet guest expectations.
• Report maintenance or hazard issues to supervisor on duty.
