Job summary

American Dining Creations, a division of American Food & Vending, seeks a Dish Room Attendant in Kilgore, TX to support kitchen staff with cleaning and janitorial tasks. The role involves washing dishes, emptying trash, cleaning floors, and restocking items to maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include operating dish machines and hand-washing items, organizing dish areas, storing items properly, and assisting with food prep and station breakdown as needed.

• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for the full shift.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and washes dishes, pots, and utensils with a dish machine and 3-compartment sink.
• Responsible for designated dish areas; keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.
• Stores clean dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers properly.
• Maintains proper temperatures, water levels, and chemical dilutions of dish machines and sinks.
• Washes items by hand when needed (e.g., cutting boards, large pots).
• Keeps floors clean and dry throughout the shift.
• Assists with storing food deliveries and organizing dry storage shelves.
• Completes janitorial tasks including bussing tables, emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, and breaking down boxes.
• May assist with food prep and station cleanup.
• Other duties as needed.
