Job summary

American Dining Creations in Richardson, TX is seeking a Dish Room Attendant to support kitchen staff with cleaning and janitorial tasks, including dishwashing, trash removal, floor care, and restocking.

You will handle dish machines, hand washing when needed, and assist with food prep and station breakdown. This position requires reliability, attention to safety, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience in dishwashing and kitchen sanitation.
• Able to follow safety and health standards.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Reliability and dependability in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Sort and wash dishes, pots, and utensils using dish machine and 3-compartment sink.
• Maintain designated dish areas free of clutter and organized.
• Properly store clean dishes, glassware, and cookware.
• Monitor temperatures, water levels, and chemical dilutions of dish machines.
• Wash items by hand when required (e.g., cutting boards, large pots).
• Keep floors clean and dry throughout shift.
• Assist in storing food deliveries and organize dry storage.
• Complete janitorial tasks: bussing tables, sweeping, mopping, breaking down boxes.
• Support food prep and station cleanup as needed.
