Job summary

MaineGeneral Health is seeking a team-oriented individual to support food service operations for patients, guests, and dining areas. You will help prepare meals and beverages, assist with cashiering and tray-line delivery, and support catering events.

Daily duties include maintaining sanitation and organization of kitchen and service areas to ensure safe, welcoming service. The role emphasizes customer-facing duties and efficient kitchen workflow, with a focus on dietary and service standards

Qualifications

Prepares food and beverages for distribution to patients, guests, service/dining areas and catering services.
Assists with cashiering and other customer-facing duties as assigned.
Maintains cleanliness and safety of work and food service areas.
Assists with catering events and tray line delivery.

Responsibilities

Assists with preparing food and beverages for distribution to patients/residents, guests, service/dining areas, and catering services.
Stores food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies and procedures.
Assists with sanitation duties, including dish washing and maintaining work and food service areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Assists with customer-facing duties as assigned, including cashiering, waiting tables, tray line delivery, and catering special events.
