Job summary

gategroup is seeking a reliable Dishroom Attendant to support our kitchen operations in New York, NY. You will handle washable items, operate the dishwasher, and help maintain cleanliness and safety standards. Responsibilities include separating items, loading the conveyor, retrieving items, and assisting with packing as required.

The role requires teamwork, punctuality, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma and a valid U.S. driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to one year of work experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to read/write forms and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Separate washable items (trays, bowls, plates, cups, glasses, silverware, etc.)
• Place items on the dishwasher conveyor belt to be washed
• Retrieve items from the belt and stalls as required, may include packing to customer diagrams
• Follow directions
• Work as a member of a team
• Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management
