Job summary

Hyatt in Wichita is seeking a Dishpit - Steward to maintain clean and sanitary food and beverage storage, prep and service areas. The role requires physical activity, the ability to stand and move for most of the shift, and the capacity to lift moderate to heavy weights.

Position Objectives

This position is responsible for all activities pertaining to cleaning/maintaining the food and beverage storage, preparation and service areas and materials. Also responsible for ensuring spotless, sanitary glassware, silverware, cookware and serving utensils.

Requirements

The ability to be on feet and in motion for majority of shift required. Ability to lift moderate to heavy amount of weight. Basic knowledge of dishwashing equipment operation and chemicals necessary. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
