Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Dishmachine Operator to support cafeteria operations. Responsibilities include operating and cleaning the dishmachine, cleaning and sanitizing dishes and utensils, and following MSDS guidelines for cleaning chemicals.

You will also assist with kitchen equipment handling, maintain sanitizing standards, and help with tray and item removal from patient carts as needed. Prior food-service exposure is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to learn basic math skills for weights and measures.

Responsibilities

• Safely and correctly operate and disassemble the dishmachine for cleaning.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots and pans within set time frames.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals as described in MSDS.
• Record dishmachine temperatures and maintain sanitizing solution levels.
• Operate, clean and sanitize a 3-compartment sink as required.
• Assist in cafeteria operations and catering support as needed.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning and maintaining kitchen work areas.
