Job summary

Chick-fil-A Novi is seeking a part-time Dish Washer / Inventory Maintenance Team Member to keep the kitchen clean, organized, and fully stocked. You will own the dish area and support receiving, rotation, and storage.

Shift options include day 8:00 AM–2:00 PM and evening 5:00 PM–11:00 PM with closed Sundays. No experience required; paid training, free meals on shift, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable on your feet and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pans, and small wares.
• Operate the dish machine safely and according to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Keep the dish area clean, dry, and organized throughout your shift.
• Empty trash and support back-of-house cleaning tasks as needed.
• Communicate low chemical, soap, or supply levels to leadership.
• Safely unload deliveries and rotate inventory using FIFO.

Help keep our Chick-fil-A kitchen clean, organized, and fully stocked. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to own the dish area while supporting inventory receiving, rotation, and storage.

If you take pride in a spotless workspace, enjoy staying on top of checklists, and want consistent scheduling with closed Sundays, we’d love to meet you.

Shift Options

• Day shift: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM - support the lunch rush and midday inventory.
• Evening shift: 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM - close out the kitchen and reset for tomorrow.

Dish Room Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pans, and small wares.
• Operate the dish machine safely and according to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Keep the dish area clean, dry, and organized throughout your shift.
• Empty trash and support back-of-house cleaning tasks as needed.
• Communicate low chemical, soap, or supply levels to leadership.

Inventory Maintenance Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently unload deliveries.
• Follow First In, First Out (FIFO) rotation to keep product fresh.
• Store items neatly with labels facing outward in each designated area.
• Cut off box tops on opened cases so contents are visible and easy to grab.
• Keep coolers, freezers, and dry storage clean, dated, and organized.
• Report damaged product, temperature concerns, or missing items to leadership.
