Job summary

Anna Jaques Hospital in Massachusetts is hiring a full-time Dish Washer. The role supports the Food Nutrition Department, cleaning and sanitizing dish rooms, stocking condiment bars, and loading patient trays.

Working in various areas such as the Dish Room, Pot Area, Coffee Shop, Cafeteria, Kitchen, and Tramline Area, you will contribute to smooth patient service. Hours are 7:00 to 3:30 with every other weekend and occasional evening shifts, and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Education: working toward High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to read and write English and follow oral and written instructions.
• Manual dexterity required.
• 1–3 months to become proficient in basic duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Load and unload patient trays; garnish trays as needed; stock condiment bar.
• Work across Dish Room, Pot Area, Coffee Shop, Cafeteria, Kitchen, and Tramline Area.

Position Summary: Performs a variety of cleaning duties within the Food Nutrition Department Dietary. Garnishes patient trays, loads and unloads patient trays from tray trucks and strips patient trays. Stock condiment bar. Working in several different areas (Dish Room, Pot Area, Coffee Shop, Cafeteria, Kitchen, Tramline Area).

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: working toward High School Diploma or GED
• Licensure, Certification, Registration: none
• Skills: Capable of following oral and written instructions. Manual dexterity required.
• One to three months to become proficient in all basic duties.
• Must be able to read and write English

Pay Range

Pay Range: $17.00 - $22.88
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
