Job summary

State Industrial Products Corporation is hiring a Dish Machine Technician at our Hebron, Ohio facility. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining ware-washing and dispensing machines, while upholding ISO quality and safety standards.

You will work Monday–Friday with opportunities to increase pay as experience grows. We value hands-on technicians with mechanical and electrical aptitude, able to handle hazardous materials and contribute to a clean, efficient workplace.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical repair.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Refurbish, diagnose and repair commercial dish machines.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and document findings in the maintenance log.
• Maintain an organized, compliant workspace, including proper storage of hazardous materials.
• Assist with inventory management, tracking parts usage and stock levels.
• Provide support for training new team members and troubleshooting.

Position Summary

The Dish Machine Technician maintains, troubleshoots, services, and refurbishes various ware-washing, dishwashing, and dispensing machines. This includes adhering to updated safety protocols and procedures outlined in the latest Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role also emphasizes maintaining a clean, organized workspace and complying with all ISO, safety, and quality standards.

Position Responsibilities

• Refurbish, diagnose and repair commercial dish machines.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and document findings in the maintenance log.
• Maintain an organized, compliant workspace, including proper storage of hazardous materials. Assist with general facility maintenance, such as cleaning, organizing, and equipment upkeep.
• Participate in inventory management, including tracking parts usage and ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Assist with general facility maintenance, such as cleaning, organizing, and equipment upkeep.
• Provide support for training new team members and sharing expertise in troubleshooting.
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the team lead or manager as workload dictates.

Skills / Competency

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, preferred.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, power tools, and hand tools.
• Analytical and decision-making skills to diagnose and resolve equipment failures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding environments.

Experience Required

• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical repair.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven ability to work in environments involving chemicals and hazardous materials.
