Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Dish Machine Operator to join our back-of-house team. You will keep the dish and sanitation areas clean, safe, and organized to ensure the kitchen operates at its best.

You’ll support food safety standards, handle dishwashing tasks efficiently, and collaborate with the kitchen crew in a fast-paced environment. Training, growth opportunities, and a commitment to safety are provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dish and sanitation area.
• Operate the dish machine efficiently while maintaining proper water temperatures and chemical levels.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes following food safety standards.
• Stack and rinse dishware for optimal cleaning results.
• Drain, clean, and refill dish tanks throughout the shift to maintain standards.
• Restock clean wares to proper locations to support kitchen flow.
• Remove trash, break down boxes, and maintain clean disposal areas.
• Maintain dumpster area cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete prep tasks and support kitchen team members as needed.
• Follow all opening, closing, and cleaning checklists.
• Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for service at all times.
• Work as part of a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment.
