Join to apply for the Dish Machine Operator All Shifts role at IHOP.

IHOP Dish Machine Operators (DMO) are responsible for cleaning and maintaining dishware and utensils to ensure smooth restaurant operations. They also perform sanitation and housekeeping tasks as assigned. Candidates should have good communication skills and work well with others. The role requires standing for up to 8 hours, lifting or moving up to 50 pounds, and full mobility of hands and arms for repetitive tasks. DMO duties include following governmental and company policies, and assisting with various restaurant operations.

Responsibilities of a Dishwasher:
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Bussing tables and collecting soiled dishes
  • Ensuring availability of clean dishes at all times
  • Cleaning kitchen appliances and machines
  • Assisting with unloading and storing deliveries
  • Supporting team members with tasks as needed
  • Following food safety procedures and regulations
  • Taking out trash and rinsing garbage cans
Job Requirements:
  • Minimal work experience as a dishwasher
  • Proficiency in operating different types of dishes and equipment
