Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Utility Worker to maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and operate dishwashing equipment in Chicago, IL. You will stock, deep clean, and uphold safety standards while providing a positive environment for residents and staff.

Must be 18+, pass background and drug tests; HS diploma or GED preferred; prior kitchen experience is a plus. Salary starts at $17.05 per hour with benefits and DailyPay eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older or have a workers permit.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred.
• Must pass a state, federal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitary condition of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, equipment and kitchen per standards.
• Operate dish washing machine safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing.
• Remove damaged dishes, utensils and glassware from service.
• Stock delivered food and non-food items.
• Empty garbage bins and breakdown boxes.
• Deep clean kitchen and equipment.
• Attend training and in-service seminars.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Follow Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards and safety practices.
