Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville, NC seeks a Quality & Patient Safety professional to advance clinical quality and performance improvement across the organization. You will analyze data, coordinate regulatory readiness, and lead education for staff and physicians to uphold evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities include managing monthly reporting to the Quality Council and MEC, supporting Joint Commission readiness, and guiding multidisciplinary teams in safe care transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Current NC RN license or compact state license; NP preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in Quality/Patient Safety and Regulatory, quality process and/or data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Educate on CMS/Leapfrog metrics on patient floors.
• Coordinate PI/PS/Regulatory meetings hospital-wide.
• Provide monthly reports to Quality Council, MEC and Board on performance improvement and safety.
• Identify and mitigate patient safety risks and coach staff/leaders.
• Apply lean tools to reduce waste and coordinate RCA/FMEA as assigned.
