Job summary

New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking an Executive Driver to provide safe, confidential transportation for the President's Office and other NYCEDC executives to residences, offices, events, and official engagements.

The role requires professional appearance, sound judgment, and discretion, with duties including vehicle maintenance, route planning, and coordination with security teams. Evening and weekend availability may be required, and NYC residency is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Experience driving corporate executives or in security settings in NYC metro area.
• Demonstrated knowledge of emergency response and security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, secure, and timely transportation for NYCEDC leadership and guests.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding schedules and sensitive information.
• Coordinate travel logistics with executive assistants to support timely movement.
• Operate safely in NYC traffic while monitoring conditions and route concerns.
• Maintain the executive vehicle in clean, secure, and ready condition.
• Support security operations and incident reporting as needed.
