Qualifications

  • Bar admission to the PA Bar or eligibility.
  • Knowledge of rules governing attorney conduct.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal law and disciplinary procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
  • Strong drafting and analytical abilities.
  • Effective written and oral communication.
  • Ability to work independently and with supervision.
  • Trial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations into attorney misconduct and document findings.
  • Supervise staff in investigations and evaluate results.
  • Coordinate issuance of subpoenas.
  • Recommend discipline or dismissal of complaints.
  • Represent ODC at hearings before the Disciplinary Board and PA Supreme Court.
  • Draft pleadings and briefs for disciplinary matters.
  • Handle matters involving disability status.
  • Participate in CLE programs on legal ethics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
