Job summary

Destiny Christian Academy seeks a DEN Coordinator to oversee the DEN program and Destiny Discovers, planning curricula, training materials, and program aims with a primary focus on discipleship.

You will manage day-to-day operations, hire and schedule staff, develop training materials and communications, and coordinate with the K8 office. Strong organization and ministry alignment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years’ experience working with children.
• Minimum of one year paid or volunteer experience in working with school-age children.
• Good organizational and management skills.
• Ability to solve practical problems; variety of variables with limited standardization; interpret instructions
• Knowledge of PC’s, Phones, and Copiers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Type 45 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DEN and Destiny Discover’s programs.
• Hire and schedule staff; coordinate staffing with the K8 office.
• Prepare meeting agendas and lead departmental meetings.
• Review lesson plans.
• Provide safety training.
