Job summary

The Met Church is seeking an Adult Discipleship Pastor to strategically lead our adult ministry, fostering spiritual growth and discipling individuals to live on mission in relational contexts. You will develop, equip, and invest in small group leaders to create healthy disciple-making cultures across our church.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of ministry leadership in a discipleship focused environment or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Live out the core virtues and mission of The Met to invite others into meaningful relationship with God and each other.
• Collaborate with leadership to promote relational discipleship across all adult ministry responsibilities.
• Develop and track strategic goals for Small Group Pastors, mentors, and leaders.
• Provide ongoing leadership to a team of direct reports and conduct regular one-on-one meetings.
• Create a strategy for men’s, women’s, and senior adult ministries aligned with the vision.
• Design Bible studies/course offerings for all levels of spiritual maturity.
• Foster a relational leadership culture emphasizing invitation, growth and multiplication.
• Plan events to attract new people and engage unconnected individuals into groups.
