Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing others.
• Effective communication with church members, leaders, and in public settings.
• Previous ministry experience, preferably within a local church.
• Agree with Baptist Faith and Message (2000), The Danvers Statement and The Nashville Statement.
• Degree in Bible, Theology, Religion, or Christian Ministries from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a disciple-making pathway for the entire church.
• Design and utilize a leadership development process for identifying and equipping leaders.
• Provide pastoral oversight and support for life groups, D-Groups, and ministries.
• Work with the lead pastor to foster a culture of discipleship and evangelism.
• Manage budgets related to discipleship ministries.
• Preach for morning worship services as needed and teach classes/curricula.
• Maintain regular office hours at the church.
