Job summary

NewSpring Church—Spartanburg Campus—seeks a full-time Discipleship Ministry Leader to build and strengthen our Discipleship programs. You will equip volunteers, oversee Groups, Classes, and Ministry Partnerships, and foster environments where Scripture, prayer, and community cultivate everyday relationships with Jesus.

You will recruit and empower leaders, collaborate across ministry teams, and track engagement and outcomes to continually improve discipleship across the campus.

Qualifications

• Leads the Discipleship ministry and develops volunteers.
• Ability to recruit, train and empower leaders.

Responsibilities

• Execute and uphold Discipleship Missions, Pillars, and Standards (MPS) and build the discipleship ministry using the vision, resources, and training of NewSpring Church.
• Oversee the Discipleship adult opportunities on campus: Groups, Classes, Ministry Partnerships.
• Ensure all groups, classes, and partnerships lead to an everyday relationship with Jesus through Scripture, prayer, and community.
• Recruit, train, and empower leaders who live the Discipleship mission and honor the Membership Covenant.
• Collaborate with Guest Services, Fuse, KidSpring, Worship Arts, and others to provide holistic discipleship for all ages.
• Track rosters, attendance, baptisms, engagement, and leaders using Rock and evaluate key metrics with Campus Pastor and Support Staff.
• Uphold relationships with Support Discipleship and counterparts across the state.
• Adhere to NewSpring Church policies and Staff expectations.
