Responsibilities

• Develop Tower Grove’s Discipleship ministry as the primary avenue for spiritual growth.
• Collaborate with senior pastor on goals and vision for ministries.
• Develop benchmarks for spiritual growth across groups.
• Recruit, train, and develop group leaders to create more Groups.
• Recommend curriculum for Groups.
• Ensure sound doctrine is taught within all groups.
• Teach weekly a Discipleship Class.
• Oversee attendance records.
• Coordinate with Children’s, Youth, and Adult ministries for a cohesive plan.
• Engage Burmese and Congolese congregations for alignment.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Purpose:

The discipleship minister is responsible for equipping God’s people to do his work and empower members to be active in the church and community. This position will also oversee all discipleship initiatives of the church, including small groups, and engage in activities that help members grow and mature in their faith. The discipleship minister will also be responsible for all guest services, outreach, and other activities that ensure everyone has an excellent impression of Tower Grove Church.

Job Functions:
