Job summary

Servpro Franchisor, LLC is seeking a dedicated restoration technician in Florida to respond to emergencies and perform water and fire restoration. You will support cleanup, operate equipment, and collaborate with a team to restore properties to pre-loss conditions.

The role requires physical work, outdoor duties, and adherence to safety standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, lifting heavy loads, managing supplies, and communicating clearly with clients and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Previous handyman or construction experience is preferred.
• Be able to pass background check.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including water extraction, fire damages, setup of equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards, site findings, and equipment requirements to supervisors.
• Maintain open communication with clients and explain the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site cleanup.
