Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore is seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Reconstruction Project Manager to lead residential and commercial rebuild projects from planning through completion in Virginia Beach, VA. This hands-on leader thrives in fast-paced environments and takes ownership of results.

You will manage crews, subcontractors, and vendors, develop schedules and budgets, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while delivering projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction management, reconstruction, or project supervision.
• Experience in insurance restoration, disaster recovery, or commercial/residential construction preferred.
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, scopes of work, and construction specifications.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
• Experience managing multiple trades and fast-moving timelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• OSHA 30, PMP, or CCM certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage construction and reconstruction projects from pre-construction through final closeout
• Oversee daily jobsite operations, crews, subcontractors, and vendors
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets
• Control costs, approve change orders, and track project profitability
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, building codes, and quality standards
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, and internal teams
• Lead jobsite meetings, inspections, and progress reporting
• Proactively resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor for restoration and rebuild projects
