Job summary

This role involves operating fuel dispensing equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

These are seasonal positions and, if activated, will likely require travel on short notice, generally lasting from several days to a few weeks and possibly 30 days or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license.
• At least 1 year of fuel handling or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience in disaster response or related fields is a plus.
• Strong safety record and ability to work in challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate fuel dispensing equipment to refuel vehicles, generators, and equipment in disaster areas.
• Assist with dispensing fuel from tanker trucks to emergency vehicles and generators.
• Measure and record dispensed fuel accurately.
• Follow safety procedures to prevent spills and accidents.
• Inspect and maintain fuel dispensing equipment for readiness.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain records of deliveries, usage, and inventory levels.
• Support logistics in coordinating fuel delivery and distribution.
• Deploy to disaster sites within short notice and maintain communication with supervisors.
