Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Paramedics to support FEMA with essential medical care during emergencies. These are part-time, as-needed roles; when activated, assignments run 8-hour shifts at disaster sites, with 24/7 coverage.

You will provide direct patient care, assess and prioritize needs, document observations, and coordinate with emergency teams. Requires paramedic training, National Registry preferred, CPR/BLS and ACLS, and an unrestricted US license.

Qualifications

• Completion of a paramedics training program accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Educations.
• National Registry certification as a paramedic preferred; CPR/BLS, ACLS.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Paramedic.
• Unrestricted license in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to FEMA personnel.
• Assess and prioritize medical needs of patients, ensuring timely and appropriate treatment.
• Monitor patient conditions, document observations, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and emergency response teams to coordinate patient care and services.
• Educate individuals and communities on health and safety measures during disaster situations.
• Assist in setting up and managing a clinical site in disaster-affected areas.
