Job summary

Industrial Tent Systems LLC seeks an Operations Manager to lead the Perry Operations Center. The role entails hands‑on oversight of ~200 mobile disaster‑response assets, supervising on‑site staff, and driving maintenance and deployment readiness in a 25‑acre facility.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will manage preventive maintenance programs, coordinate with vendors and carriers, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining a single system of truth for asset data in Samsara.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in operations management, fleet management, equipment maintenance, or facility management.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Demonstrated management responsibility for a significant fleet or inventory of mobile assets.
• Experience directly supervising employees and/or contract personnel.
• Strong background in building and administering preventive maintenance programs.
• Experience with a fleet or asset-management platform (Samsara) and willingness to manage from system of record.
• Good time‑and‑material tracking and cost control capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple maintenance projects and competing priorities.
• Ability to work effectively with vendors, transportation carriers, and corporate management.
• Strong organizational, planning, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Availability during activation, extended hours, weekends, and compressed mobilization timelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asset readiness for ~200 mobile disaster‑response assets and ensure deployment‑readiness.
• Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs for all assets.
• Manage the Perry facility’s 25‑acre campus, two maintenance shops, offices, storage, and yards.
• Coordinate deployment, mobilization, and asset movements with carriers and vendors.
• Lead on‑site staffing and daily direction of personnel, including contractors.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory, and vendor relationships; ensure cost controls.
• Maintain asset data and maintenance history in the fleet system (Samsara) as the single source of truth.
• Support rollout of a new operations system and data cleanup at Perry.
