Operation Blessing seeks a Deployment Technician to join its Global Disaster Relief team in Grand Prairie, TX. This hands-on role supports disaster-response operations, coordinates logistics, and trains volunteers, ensuring teams and equipment are ready to deploy at a moment’s notice.

The position emphasizes leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to work in austere environments, including extended field deployments and international travel.

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience preferred, in emergency or disaster-relief settings.
• Experience leading, training, or coaching teams under pressure.
• Hands-on carpentry, remodeling, construction, or housing repair experience a plus.
• Strong project management, logistics, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to deploy rapidly and stay in the field for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Support disaster response efforts from preparation to recovery, deploying domestically or internationally as needed.
• Coordinate logistics and assist field operations to help communities rebuild.
• Lead and train volunteers and ensure readiness of teams and equipment.
