Plenitud PR ASN: Bioconstruction and Resiliency Coordinator is part of the AmeriCorps State / National program. The role supports disaster preparedness, environmental stewardship and healthy futures through hands-on training and community programming at the Las Marias Community Center & Resiliency Hub in Puerto Rico.

The position is part-time, located in Puerto Rico, and requires Spanish language skills with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Trade/Construction experience or training required.
• General skills including communication, organization, and problem solving.
• Understanding of environmental stewardship and disaster-related work.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with partners.

Responsibilities

• Support disaster preparedness and training programs.
• Demonstrate and share techniques such as rainwater harvesting, bio-construction and solar power.
