Job summary

AC Disaster Consulting is seeking Debris Staff to support oversight operations in debris removal after natural disasters. This on-site role requires readiness to start immediately and to deploy across the region as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work long hours outdoors. Travel up to 25% and reliable transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience ensuring only FEMA eligible debris is removed and hauled.
• Willing and able to work with contractors and crews on-site.
• Willing to travel to client sites and deploy regionally.
• Must reside within commuting distance of the project area.
• Access to a reliable vehicle with current insurance and good driving record.
• Access to a smartphone and ability to use tablets or devices required.
• Must pass a criminal background check and be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Report to designated areas at assigned times.
• Attend safety and operational briefings.
• Coordinate with contractors on-site and report to supervisors.
• Monitor debris collection for FEMA eligibility and proper disposal.
• Record and report damages resulting from debris removal.
• Operate a smart phone app or handheld unit to record data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
